Tales, thoughts and policy reflections from wannabe economists (that met) at the Graduate Institute in Geneva
I wonder if sachs really think that Easterly and Moyo don't care about poverty in Africa...if they want reforms, it's becuz they do care...their debate is definetely not focused on the right topic...they should be debating mechanism designs for aid, not vague ideas and false attacks!
i'm also expecting this to be the next move pl! it will be great when this debate evolves to a reshaping of the aid "industry", involving other non-status quo ideas such as Ms. Novogratz'shttp://www.economist.com/people/displaystory.cfm?story_id=13692513
